We had a wonderful time in Texas visiting with friends and family despite making 2 trips to the ER with Adeline for vomiting, lethargy and dehydration. We ended up having to stay two extra days since Adeline was too sick to fly much to the chagrin of Chad and Tracy as they both contracted her illness.
We thoroughly enjoyed all of our exciting activities including going to the ICE show at the Gaylord Texan with the Sones's, Baby #3's baby shower brunch, taking the kids to the Log Cabin Village and Fort Worth Zoo, and how could I forget the newest and quite possibly most entertaining game of all time, "Manparts" at Chad & Tracy's BBQ.
And the meals, oh the delicious Texas food. It was hard trying to convince my OB that the 12 pounds I gained in 5 weeks was "all baby" but I knew the trips to Babe's Chicken House, Kincaid's, Reata and the many other delectable restaurants we frequented couldn't have had anything to do with it.
