I can't believe it is the end of summer already. We have had such a busy and fun August. Brandon's Godfather Dicky is in town from Austin visiting and we have loved being able to spend time with a Texan.
Eleanor had her 4 months check up and is weighing in at 14 pds and 24.75 inches. She is still struggling with some reflux so she continues on the Prevacid but she is much less uncomfortable. She is rolling over and very verbal with her cooing and spider monkey screams. I think she already recognizes that it hard to get a word in edge wise in our loud home.
Adeline is suffering from hand-foot-mouth disease right now so she has been suffering with fevers over 102 degrees and painful sores in her mouth and throat for the past 3 days. Daddy had to come home from work early on Thursday to take her to the pediatrician as I am back at work now without any sick time. So Adeline has been living on milkshakes and yogurt for the past few days. I don't know how we are going to get her off the stuff once she starts getting better.
Carter is in Coeur D'Alene with Nana and Auntie Kiki for 6 days. This is the longest he has been away from us and we all miss him so much, especially Adeline. He has been to the lake, county fair and rodeo, and today he went on a gondola ride. What a lucky boy!

Our God-daughter is beautiful, can't wait to meet her. The Bean is cute (as always) and I can't believe how big Carter is getting...hurry up and move to Texas, we miss out on too much!
