Happy Halloween!

We hope that everyone had as fun a Halloween as we did this year! Carter and Adeline had a great time getting dressed up and going trick-or-treating. I practiced a bit with Adeline the day before by having her put on her Cupcake Fairy Princess Costume (which she refused to wear on her birthday) and had her knock on doors around the house, at which point I would give her candy corn when she said, "trick-or-treat." She loved it! She couldn't believe that she could get candy just for wearing a tutu!
Carter had a Halloween Party at school on Friday that Adeline and I got to attend. The kids made masks and decorated sugar cookies. It was really fun! Carter was a pirate for his school party and then switched over to Spiderman for Halloween night. We spent the evening at Nana & Bampa's with friends and family for Nana's delicious chili and hot dogs before we went trick-or-treating around the block.
