Merry Christmas!

We hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas Season! We have kept busy with all sorts of Christmas outings this year. We checked out the gingerbread houses at the Sheraton, read stories in the Teddy Bear Suite at the Fairmont, and went to see Santa at Nordstroms. Adeline didn't take to Santa very well. She wouldn't get near him even with her brother there to protect her. In the end Santa had to leave the room and all 3 kids got in Santa's chair with Santa sneaking back in for the picture.
We had a spectacular Christmas with friends and family. We really tried to bring the holiday back to Jesus. We had a Jesse Tree countdown for the kids and focused more on the birth of our Lord and Savior than on Santa. We gave each child 3 presents to signify the 3 gifts the wise men brought Baby Jesus and Santa brought 2. It was the perfect amount. We all had a great day!
Carter had an especially exciting Christmas Eve as he lost his 1st tooth that evening. Actually "lost" isn't really the correct word as Brandon pulled it out with needle nose pliers. It bled a little but Carter did great and was really excited to be visited by the tooth fairy and Santa on the same night.
