Easter Activities for Kids

With Easter Sunday quickly approaching I have been thinking about activities that I could do with the kids that teach them about the true meaning of Easter. So often we get caught up in celebrating the worldly traditions associated with various holidays failing to recognize the real reason we are celebrating. The death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, is paramount to all we believe as Christians. I want to impress upon my children the great importance of what Jesus gave up for our salvation. Some of the age appropriate activities I found for my children are Resurrection Eggs and Resurrection Rolls. Carter and I made the Resurrection rolls last year and had a lot of fun making them and they turned out delicious. We hope our friends can use these ideas to create meaningful Easter memories with their families too. Happy Easter!
