Easter 2011

We had an awesome Easter! We spent a lot of time teaching the kids about the true meaning of Easter and the importance and significance that Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection had for us. We are so blessed to have met Jesus in the recent years and are now truly able to share His love with our children. It is  so exciting to see the work He is doing in our hearts and theirs.

We started Easter Sunday early picking up Nana, Kiki, and Amanda to join us for a spectacular Easter Celebration with our church at Qwest Field. It was amazing to watch over 17,500 people gather to celebrate Jesus. Hundreds of people were baptized and we worshipped in song with great musicians.

After church we headed to Nana & Bampa's for an Easter Basket search, egg hunt with our favorite Magnolia neighbors (the Payne Family), and a delicious dinner courtesy of Kiki. And of course Mimi made her yummy bunny cake for dessert.
