Captain Adeline 

    I can't believe this summer is halfway over. We have been keeping busy with play dates, summer camps and our week long trip to Idaho with extended family. The kids had a great time swimming in the lake, playing at all the different playgrounds, and watching the big 4th of July parade. 

   Eleanor is growing like a weed. She was 12 lbs 6 oz at her 12 week appointment. She is still dealing with a bit of reflux but we're hoping that the change in meds will help. Adeline continues to amaze us with her growing vocabulary and hilarious personality. And Carter is getting excited for kindergarten in the fall and having fun playing with all his neighborhood buddies from sun up to sun down.  

   For all you wives and moms out there I have to make a pitch for the best book I have read in a long while. It is called Feminine Appeal by Carolyn Mahaney. It was a quick read and it really influenced me in how to be a better wife and mother. I highly recommend it to all the women in my life!
