This morning I delighted in watching my children entertain themselves with the simplest (and maybe cheapest) of toys. It reminded me that kids don't need the newest video game or doll to enjoy life... a simple latex ballon (with a little creativity on the part of the parents) can provide just as much fun and entertainment!

When I nannied, I learned that I won't buy expensive toys for my kids, I'll let others do it because when they're little, they like the simple things more! When they get older, they demand more but little kids need to use their imaginations!
