Bed Rest After the Pregnancy?

After an incredibly painful and sleepless night last night I went back to the OB today for what I thought may be an UTI but was surprised to find out that I have a full blown uterine infection (endometritis). I guess it occurs in 5-15% of c-sections.  I was having horrible lower abdominal pain and cramping and was barely able to walk, along with a fever and increased bleeding. The OB sent me home with 2 different antibiotics and stronger pain medication along with instructions for strict bed rest for the next 48 hours. If there is no improvement in the next 24 hours I will need to admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics. So please pray for a quick recovery so that I will be able to get up and care for my family soon.
