We made it home from the hospital early Sunday afternoon. Since then we have been getting used to being outnumbered by children. It is going pretty well though. The hardest part has been my inability to lift anything heavier than Eleanor for 6 weeks. It is really difficult to explain to Adeline that I can't pick her up. Carter is acting out a bit but I hear that is to be expected when bringing home a new sibling. At least he is sleeping in his bed all night!
We have had a lot of help from the grandmothers helping with chores and childcare and friends bringing meals. It is such a blessing not to worry about what to prepare for dinner. Eleanor had her 5 day check up yesterday and is back up to her birth weight and is looking great. She is our first child that we didn't have to worry about jaundice or significant weight loss. We are going to attempt our first trip to the park this afternoon as long as the weather holds out so look for more pics soon!
